The Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) has released a draft list of prioritized transportation projects as part of the ongoing development of the 2055 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).
A public feedback period is currently open, allowing residents to review the proposed projects from May 4th through June 3rd.
The draft list of transportation projects was developed by MAG and its partners using technical analysis, regional goals, and input from key stakeholders.
According to the announcement, the project prioritization list remains subject to change.
Moving forward, the 2055 RTP update process will involve continued input from the TAC and MAG MPO Board.
Next steps for the plan include gathering feedback, continuing public outreach, determining potential funding sources, and establishing criteria for future project phasing.
