The National Weather Service released a regional weather roundup for Utah on August 25, 2026. The report provided temperature, sky, and wind data for various locations across Northern, Central, and Southern Utah, as well as regional reports for Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming.
In Northern Utah, Salt Lake City reported a temperature of 92 degrees with partly sunny skies. Other area temperatures included 91 degrees in Brigham City and Logan, 88 degrees in Ogden, 90 degrees in Tooele Valley, 92 degrees in Wendover, and 87 degrees in Heber City.
Central and Northeast Utah saw temperatures ranging from 84 degrees in Vernal to 95 degrees in Nephi. Moab reported a temperature of 94 degrees under sunny skies, while Provo Airport recorded 88 degrees with wind gusts reaching 31 mph. Delta and Price reported 93 and 90 degrees respectively, and Manti recorded 91 degrees.
Southern Utah experienced significant heat, with St. George reaching 101 degrees. Other recorded temperatures included 78 degrees in Bryce Canyon, 88 degrees in Cedar City, 82 degrees in Panguitch, 95 degrees in Hanksville, 95 degrees in Kanab, and 91 degrees in Blanding.
Regional reports from surrounding states showed high temperatures in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 105 degrees. In Arizona, Kingman also reached 101 degrees, while Colorado City reported 97 degrees. Other regional observations included temperatures in Grand Junction, Colorado, at 94 degrees and Pocatello, Idaho, at 91 degrees.
