Adam Gerlach

Adam Gerlach is a Republican who filed as a candidate for Utah State Board of Education District 4 in the 2026 election but withdrew prior to appearing on the ballot. He serves as Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Wallace Stegner Academy, a charter school in Utah, where he has nearly two decades of experience in education including as a classroom educator, instructional team leader, and leader in curriculum design and professional development. Gerlach holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Utah University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Weber State University, and is a certified Level 2 educator with ESL endorsement.
