Adam Sorenson, a Republican, filed as a candidate for Utah State House of Representatives District 17 in the 2026 election. He is a partner at the Salt Lake City law firm Gross & Rooney, where he specializes in representing sexual abuse survivors and plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. He graduated from Brigham Young University and the University of North Carolina School of Law, and he clerked for a federal judge.
