Ariel Defay is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 15, having assumed office on November 15, 2023, after being appointed to succeed Brad Wilson. She is a small business owner, wife, and mother who previously worked as a Republican senior legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives and holds a Master's in Public Administration. Defay won election to the seat in 2024 with 75.7% of the vote and is the incumbent running in the 2026 general election.
