Babak “Bobby” Darvish is an Iranian-American technology and cybersecurity executive listed by the state of Utah as a write-in candidate for U.S. House District 1 in 2026. His campaign describes decades of work in information technology, security, risk, and artificial intelligence, including with financial institutions, technology companies, and government-related environments. He says he came to the United States as a child and is running as a Republican emphasizing constitutional liberty, national security, and accountable government.
