Carl R. Albrecht is a Republican serving as the incumbent representative for Utah House District 70 since 2017, representing Sevier, Piute, Beaver, and Iron counties. Born April 9, 1952, he grew up in Salina, Utah, graduated from Wayne High School, and earned a B.S. in business from Southern Utah State College. Prior to entering the legislature, he had a 40-year career with Garkane Energy Cooperative, including 23 years as CEO, and held local positions including Sevier School District Board of Education and Richfield City Council.
