Casey Snider is a Republican serving as a member of the Utah House of Representatives from District 5 since being appointed in October 2018 and subsequently elected; he represents Cache County and was elected House Majority Leader in June 2025. He is a farmer and rancher who grew up in agriculture in Cache Valley, holds a BS from Utah State University and an MS from Johns Hopkins University, and has prior experience in federal environmental and natural resources policy roles including work with Rep. Rob Bishop and on the House Natural Resources Committee. Snider has also served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, chaired the Cache County Republican Party, and is the executive director of the Bear River Land Conservancy.
