Chris Sloan is a Republican who filed to run for Utah State Senate District 11 (multi-county, including parts of Salt Lake and Tooele counties) in the 2026 election. He is a broker and owner of Group 1 Real Estate with more than 30 years of experience in real estate and community leadership. Sloan gathered signatures for the ballot but was eliminated at the Republican convention on April 25, 2026, where Brooks Benson won the nomination.
