David Shallenberger is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 58, having assumed office on January 1, 2025. He is a lifelong Utahn born and raised in Utah County, resides in Orem with his wife Lara and their six children, and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from BYU and a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University. Prior to and alongside his legislative role, he has owned and operated businesses including an eco-friendly outdoor clothing company and worked in energy efficiency, with experience in water and energy conservation projects.
