Doug Fiefia is a Republican serving as Utah House Representative for District 48 since January 2025, representing areas including Herriman, Riverton, and South Jordan in Salt Lake County. A first-generation American born to Tongan immigrant parents, he has a background in technology working at companies like Google, Workday, and Domo, owns SOJO Construction, and holds an MBA from Rice University along with dual bachelor's degrees from Utah State University. He won the Republican primary for Utah State Senate District 18 in June 2026, defeating incumbent Sen. Dan McCay, and is the nominee facing Democrat A.
