Doug Welton is a Republican serving as the incumbent Utah State Representative for House District 65, having assumed office on January 1, 2021 after previously representing District 67. He is a former high school teacher, award-winning debate coach, and served five years on the Payson City Council. Welton holds a bachelor's degree from Utah Valley State College and a master's from Southern Utah University, and is a husband and father of four.
