Eldred Blaine Rawson

Eldred Blaine Rawson, also known as E. Blaine Rawson, is a judge of Utah’s Second District Court, serving Davis, Morgan, and Weber counties. Governor Spencer J. Cox appointed him in September 2022, with his service beginning November 1, 2022, after the retirement of Judge David R. Hamilton. He earned a bachelor’s degree and a 1995 Juris Doctor (Order of the Coif) from the University of Utah, practiced complex civil and environmental and natural resources law for about 28 years at firms including Fabian VanCott, Holme Roberts & Owen, and Ray Quinney & Nebeker, and appears on the 2026 Utah ballot in a nonpartisan judicial retention election for that office.
