Erin Longacre is the appointed Republican incumbent for Utah State Board of Education District 7, representing Sandy, Draper, Cottonwood Heights, and Alta. Appointed by Gov. Spencer Cox in July/August 2025 to fill the vacancy left by Molly Hart, she is a native of Delaware, Villanova University graduate with a degree in communications and sociology minor, married with three children attending local schools, and has worked as a substitute teacher, PTA volunteer, and mountain biking coach.
