About
Evan J. Vickers is a Republican incumbent serving as Utah State Senator for District 28 since 2013, after previously serving in the Utah House of Representatives from 2009 to 2012 and on the Cedar City Council from 1987 to 1999. A lifelong southern Utah resident born in Panguitch and raised in Beaver, he earned a pharmacy degree from the University of Utah in 1977 and has worked as a pharmacist and small business owner, operating Bulloch Drug, Township Pharmacy, and additional retail stores in Cedar City. He and his wife Chris have been married for over 50 years, have five children, and 15 grandchildren.

Local Control and States’ Rights
Defends local control and opposes federal overreach in education, healthcare, and public lands; supports returning management authority to the state.
Economic Growth and Fiscal Responsibility
