Garret Rushforth
About
Garret Rushforth is a Democratic candidate running for Utah State Senate District 7 in the November 3, 2026 general election. He is a native of Centerville, Utah, the oldest of seven siblings, and a public school teacher in the Davis School District teaching social studies and theater. Rushforth holds a bachelor's degree in geography from BYU (2019) and a master's in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University (2025); he advanced unopposed through the Democratic primary and convention.
