Gina Gagon is a Republican candidate who filed to run for Utah House of Representatives District 67 in the 2026 election cycle, an open seat after incumbent Christine Watkins opted not to seek reelection. She grew up on a farm in Emery County, built her family and career in Carbon County, and has over 25 years of experience as co-founder and vice president/CFO of Gagon Family Medicine, a rural healthcare practice serving Carbon and Emery counties. Gagon has held leadership roles including vice chair of the Utah State University Board of Trustees, chair of the Uintah Basin Technical College Board of Trustees Instruction & Student Affairs Committee, founding chair of the Boys & Girls Club of Carbon County, and various economic development and planning positions in eastern Utah.
