Jason E. Thompson is a Republican serving as the incumbent Utah State Representative for House District 3, which covers parts of Cache County; he assumed office on January 1, 2025, after winning election in November 2024. He is a Cache Valley entrepreneur who co-founded Fox Pest Control in 2011, which grew into one of the largest pest control companies in the U.S. before its acquisition; he previously served as mayor of River Heights, Utah. Thompson holds a BA in History and Political Science and an MPA from Brigham Young University, resides in River Heights with his wife Dana and their six children, and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
