Jennie Earl is the Republican incumbent representing Utah State Board of Education District 1, which covers parts of Cache, Rich, Box Elder, Summit, and Morgan counties. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a minor in math and special education, and holds a master's degree in education from Weber State University. She has taught special education for five years and currently teaches middle school math at a private school; she resides in Morgan County with her husband and six children.
