Jennifer L. Valencia is a judge of Utah’s Second District Court, appointed by Governor Gary R. Herbert in May 2017 and assigned to the Farmington courthouse while serving Davis, Morgan, and Weber counties. She earned a B.A. in political science from Weber State University (1994) and a J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law (1997), and previously served as an assistant Utah attorney general, Salt Lake County deputy district attorney, and director of the Utah Sentencing Commission. In 2026 she is on the ballot for nonpartisan retention as Judge of the District Court of the Second Judicial District.
