Jim Dunnigan is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 36, which includes portions of Salt Lake County. He assumed office in the district on January 1, 2023, after previously representing District 39 since 2003. He is a lifelong Taylorsville resident, small business owner, and University of Utah graduate with prior local service on the Taylorsville City Council.
