John Knotwell
About
John Knotwell is a Republican former member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 52 from 2013 to 2019, where he served as majority assistant whip and on committees including revenue and taxation, transportation, and appropriations. He filed as a candidate for Utah State Senate District 11 in the 2026 election but was eliminated at the Republican convention in April 2026. Knotwell lives in Herriman, Utah, with his wife Jill and five children; he holds degrees from Utah Valley University, the University of Utah, and Utah State University.
