About
Josh Smith is a sixth-generation Utahn born and raised in the Ogden area. He graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Applied Math and Computer Science, worked as a Software Engineering Manager, and has lived in the West Kaysville and Layton area for the past 12 years with his wife and four children. He is running as the Forward Party candidate for Utah State Senate District 6 in the November 3, 2026 general election.
