Karli Black is a Democratic candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 58 in the 2026 election. She is a lifelong resident of Utah County, a commercial real estate brokerage owner, and the mother of eight children. She has a background in community service including PTA leadership, founding educational and commercial ventures, directing a foundation that raised over $1 million, and international education and refugee support work.

Expand affordable homeownership pathways; combat homelessness with housing stability initiatives; increase access to affordable healthcare including mental health services; lessen childcare costs.
Environmental Protection
Improve air quality along the Wasatch Front; better management and conservation of the Great Salt Lake; resist sell-off of public lands and preserve access for recreation.
Education
Increase per-pupil funding; prioritize equitable public school funding and oppose diverting funds to private schools; expand funding for after-school, summer, and enrichment programs; expand access to early childhood education.
Economy
Advance policies strengthening economic security for working families and promoting upward mobility; support a fair, balanced, progressive tax system.
