Performance standards, as printed

Justice court judges who receive a basic evaluation are required to meet four minimum performance standards. The Utah Judicial Council has certified to the Commission that Judge Kelly N. Schaeffer-Bullock met the following standards:

1.The judge participated annually in no less than 30 hours of continuing legal education for each year of her current term;

2.The judge met the time standards established for all cases held under advisement; and

3.The judge was determined to be physically and mentally competent for office.

In addition, Judge Schaeffer-Bullock has not been the subject of any public reprimands issued by the Utah Supreme Court during their term of office, thus meeting the performance standard established by the Utah Legislature. Based solely on compliance with these standards, the Commission recommends retention for Judge Schaeffer-Bullock.
