Kendra Penry is the Democratic candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 5 in the 2026 election, running against incumbent Republican Casey Snider. She has served as Executive Director of Stokes Nature Center in Logan, Utah, since 2019, holds a B.A. in International Studies from Hollins University and an M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University, and has over two decades of experience in nonprofit community service roles including with Heifer International. Penry grew up in small towns and rural areas and has volunteered extensively in Cache Valley, including on the Cache Open Space Advisory Committee and as a coach.
