Lacey Peterson is a Democrat from American Fork running for the Utah State Board of Education in District 11, an open multi-county seat covering much of northern Utah County, in the November 3, 2026, general election. She holds a bachelor's degree in health education and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University, worked as a substitute teacher, and returned to Utah in 2020. She works as a licensed clinical social worker with children, teens, and adults, specializing in trauma and crisis care.
