Libby Shelton is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist specializing in substance use and domestic violence treatment who has resided in Weber County, Utah, for over 20 years. She holds a master's degree in social work from Utah State University and a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Weber State University. Shelton is the Weber County Vice-Chair of the Utah Forward Party, has been active in local politics including serving as a delegate and vice chair in caucuses, and is running as the Forward Party candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 8 in the 2026 general election.
