Liz Oates is a Democratic candidate running for Utah House of Representatives District 27 in the 2026 election. A lifelong resident of Magna, Utah, she is a wife, mother of three, and community advocate with prior work experience as a nurse's aide, in a juvenile detention center, as a health insurance case manager, and as a funeral director during the pandemic. She has not previously held elected office.
