McKay Jensen is a longtime Provo resident and Republican who announced his candidacy for the Utah House of Representatives in District 60 in January 2026. He previously served on the Provo City School Board, including as president, and has experience in public education as an employee of Alpine School District for 21 years along with leadership roles in the Utah School Boards Association. He is described as a husband and father of twin daughters and lives in Provo with his family.
