Michele M. Christiansen Forster is a judge of the Utah Court of Appeals, appointed in June 2010 by Gov. Gary Herbert after serving on the Third District Court since 2007. She received a J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1995 and previously worked as a federal law clerk, a lawyer at Parsons Behle & Latimer, an assistant U.S. attorney, executive director of the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, and general counsel to Gov. Jon M. Huntsman Jr. She is on the November 3, 2026, ballot for a nonpartisan retention vote and was previously retained in 2014 and 2020.
