Mike Petersen is a Republican serving as Utah State Representative for House District 2, a position he has held since 2023 after previously representing District 3 starting in 2021. He was born on August 23, 1963, in Ogden, Utah, and holds a BS and MEd from Brigham Young University and a PhD from Utah State University. He owns LetterPress Software, an education and training development company, and lives in the Cache Valley area.
