Neil Hansen

Neil Hansen filed as a candidate for U.S. House District 2 in Utah in 2026 under the Independent American Party. He was defeated by Carlton Bowen at the party's convention on April 10, 2026, and listed as out in convention with no general election candidacy. He previously served as a Democratic member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 9 from 1999 to 2011 and ran unsuccessfully for Ogden mayor in 2003, 2007, and another year.
