About
Ofa Matagi is a Democratic candidate running for Utah House of Representatives District 43 in the 2026 general election. She is a first-generation Pacific Islander woman, born and raised in West Valley City as the daughter of Tongan immigrants, and has over 20 years of experience in community leadership and civic engagement. She previously served as Executive Director of the Utah Pacific Islander Health Coalition and has worked in areas including health equity and environmental justice.
