Ronald M. Winterton is a Republican serving as Utah State Senator for District 20, which covers Daggett, Duchesne, Summit, Uintah, and Wasatch counties. He assumed office in January 2019 after winning election to the former District 26 seat in 2018 and has represented the redistricted District 20 since 2023. Prior to the Senate, he served as a Duchesne County Commissioner from 2009 to 2019.
