Scott D. Sandall is a Republican member of the Utah State Senate representing District 1, which covers Box Elder, Cache, and Tooele counties; he assumed office on January 1, 2023, after previously serving in the Utah House of Representatives from 2015 to 2018 and Senate District 17 from 2019 to 2023. A lifelong resident of Box Elder County and third-generation farmer and rancher who owns Sandall Ranches, he earned a BS in Agricultural Economics from Brigham Young University magna cum laude and lives in Tremonton with his wife Christie. He is a candidate for re-election in the 2026 general election for Utah State Senate District 1.
