Scott Stephenson is a Republican candidate for Utah State House District 44 in the 2026 election. He has nearly three decades of experience in Utah law enforcement, including roles as a patrol officer, with the Utah Highway Patrol, Director of the Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Division, Chair of the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole, and currently serves as Executive Director of the Utah Fraternal Order of Police. He also works as a clinical mental health counselor, lives in southwest Salt Lake County with his wife, and announced his candidacy in December 2025.
