Shawn Ferriola is a high school educator and coach from Roy, Utah, who filed as the Forward Party candidate for Utah House District 12 in the 2026 election cycle but subsequently withdrew from the race. He previously ran for the same seat in 2020 under the United Utah Party, receiving about 22.8% of the vote against the Republican incumbent. Ferriola holds master's degrees in exercise and sport studies and in constitutional government, civics, and law, and has served on a local elementary school community council.
