He was born and raised in South Jordan, has lived nearly all his life in the district, and has practiced law for nearly 20 years, including the last 10 years advocating for common sense energy policy as an in-house attorney and executive in the solar industry, along with pro bono work on immigration issues. He is running as unaffiliated because he believes most people are unhappy with both major parties and seek better representation.
