Steven Merrill, also known as Steve Merrill, is a Democratic candidate who sought the nomination for U.S. House District 3 in Utah for the 2026 election. He previously ran as a Democrat for Utah House District 71 in 2024. Merrill was born in Ludington, Michigan, earned an associate degree in 2002, and has a professional background as a programmer and software development manager; he moved to Utah in 2019 and is based in Cedar City.
