Stone Fonua

Stone Fonua is a Republican candidate who declared intent to run for U.S. House District 1 in Utah in the 2026 election cycle. He participated in the Utah Republican Party nominating convention in April 2026, receiving 1.5% of the delegate votes (7 votes) and was eliminated as he did not gather sufficient signatures to qualify for the primary ballot. Fonua has previously run for various offices in Utah as a Republican, independent, United Utah Party member, and other affiliations, including attempts for U.S. Senate in 2016 and 2018, and other congressional seats.
