The community packed the Helper City Council chambers on Thursday, Sept. 3, as one item dominated the public's attention: an ordinance amending a portion of the official zoning district map for a property on North Frontage Road at the mouth of Price Canyon from rural residential to industrial.

HELPER – On Saturday, Aug. 22, a Carbon County man was charged and booked into the Carbon County Jail on 14 felony counts involving drug possession, voyeurism and the possession of sexually explicit images of children.
