Price City Council and advocates address suicide prevention and community support

PRICE – During the Price City Council meeting Wednesday, Aug. 26, Price City proclaimed September as Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month following a presentation by Suicide Prevention Liaison Amanda McIntosh. McIntosh reported that Carbon, Emery and Grand counties lead the state in per capita suicide deaths, with firearms and medications as the primary means.

Lady Spartan soccer falls to Juab in non-region finale

The Emery Lady Spartans closed out their non-region schedule on Thursday when they welcomed the Juab Wasps to town. The Spartans were searching for their first win of the season, and the Juab Wasps took the win over Emery 4-0.
