Top 2025 basketball prospects
According to the June 23, 2026, basketball rankings, Darryn Peterson of Prolific Prep in Napa, California, holds the number one position in the 2025 class. Peterson, a 6-foot-5 combo guard weighing 195 pounds, earned a perfect 100 rating from the 247Sports Composite.
Following closely at the top of the rankings are AJ Dybantsa of Utah Prep in Brockton, Massachusetts, and Cameron Boozer of Miami Columbus in Florida. Both Dybantsa, a 6-foot-9 small forward, and Boozer, a 6-foot-9 power forward, also hold 100 ratings. The top five is rounded out by Nate Ament of Highland School in Virginia and Darius Acuff Jr. of IMG Academy in Florida.
Florida talent dominates rankings
The 2025 basketball rankings feature a heavy concentration of talent from Florida-based programs. Notable players include Mikel Brown Jr. of DME Academy, Chris Cenasc Jr. of Link Academy, and Caleb Wilson of Holy Innocments Episcopal School, all of whom hold 99 ratings.

Additionally, Xavion Staton of Utah Prep in Hurricane, Utah, holds the 37th spot in the nation with a 95 rating.
International and upper-tier basketball
Other notable players in the upper tiers of the basketball rankings include Nikolas Khamenia of Harvard Westlake and Mouhamed Syola of Bella Vista Prep, both carrying 98 ratings. The list also features international prospects such as Tounde Yessoufou from Benin and Dwayne Aristode from the Netherlands.
In the 2027 football recruiting class, updated rankings released on June 22, 2026, place Jalen Brewster of Cedar Hill in Texas at the number one spot. Brewster, a defensive lineman weighing 302 pounds, holds a 0.9995 rating.
John Meredith III of North Crowley, Texas, follows as the second-ranked prospect with a 0.9994 rating. The third-ranked player is Maxwell Hiller, an interior offensive lineman from Coatesville Area in Pennsylvania, carrying a 0.9989 rating.
The top of the 2027 football class is dominated by players from Texas and Florida. DJ Jacobs, an edge defender from Blessed Trinity Catholic in Georgia, ranks fourth with a 0.9986 rating, while Mark Matthews of St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida holds the fifth position with a 0.9984 rating.
