Kaysville City Parks and Recreation recently provided updates regarding community donations and various local programs in a notice on the city's website. The announcement highlighted the success of the Kaysville GIVES initiative and listed several upcoming community activities.
According to the city's website, the Kaysville GIVES program provided Christmas to 36 families. The initiative also provided blankets and gift cards to students at Mountain High School, as well as warm clothes, coats, and boots to students at an elementary school. Additionally, donations were made to the Davis Foundation.
Kaysville City's Daddy Daughter Dance was scheduled for February 7th and February 8th. This tradition includes dancing, pictures, face painting, and refreshments. Pre-registration is required for the event.
Kaysville Junior Jazz has begun its second session. The program relies on volunteer coaches and the use of local schools through the Davis School District.
Kaysville City began taking reservations for pavilions and campsites on January 1st. These locations are available for various activities such as reunions and birthday parties.
Other upcoming registrations and community events include spring baseball, softball, adult softball leagues, and spring pickleball leagues and tournaments. Youth programs offered by Kaysville City Recreation include Youth Self Defense, Up With Kids, and Uplift Jump Rope.
