After Iron County vote, other 4-day school districts share lessons and warnings | KSL.com
Iron County School District is now the largest school district in the state to approve a four-day school week for all students, after a 4-3 school board vote Tuesday. The change comes after more than a year of research and community input. District leaders said 66% of parents and 71% of school staff approve of the change, which can take effect as early as the 2027-2028 school year.

Body of 3-year-old girl found after flash flood in Little Wild Horse Canyon
The body of a missing 3-year-old girl was found in Little Wild Horse Canyon on Tuesday afternoon, authorities confirmed. KUTV: Jeremy Harris reports. She is believed to have died in a flash flood that swept through the canyon on Monday afternoon, catching an estimated two dozen people hiking the canyon off guard. Video shared with 2News shows the flood waters sweeping through the canyon.
