According to a August 27 notice, the Emery County Commission has scheduled a public demonstration and testing of election ballot counting equipment. The event is intended to certify the accuracy and logic of the machines used for counting ballots in the upcoming General Election.
The testing was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Emery County Courthouse, located at 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah. This demonstration is part of the preparations for the General Election on November 3, 2026.
