Multiple homes and roadways were flooded in Emery County on Aug. 29, displacing several residents, according to a August 30 report.
Orangeville was especially hard hit by the flooding. Photos shared online showed multiple parks, roads, and parking lots completely under water, along with multiple homes and apartment buildings.
The Emery County Sheriff's Office announced that a Red Cross shelter was established at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse in Orangeville for any displaced residents.
