At Brigham Young University's Museum of Art, a 17-foot-tall replica of Lorenzo Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise towers over visitors who come to take in the gilded, historic work depicting stories from the Old Testament. Students like Hannah Moss spent nine months delicately applying countless sheets of gold leaf to more than 10 panels, restoring the replica.
