Park City-area trails closed for maintenance, fire mitigation in September
Run-A-Muk will be closed in Kimball Junction for trail resurfacing starting Sept. Mountain Trails Foundation Executive Director Lora Anthony says Kimball Junction’s Run-A-Muk trail will be closed weekdays starting Sept. Anthony also advised trail users the Point 2 Point bike race will bring hundreds of people to Park City’s trails from Round Valley to Park City Mountain Saturday.

Park City Mountain is going Larger with the help of Shaun White
Park City Mountain has joined with snowboarder Shaun White to launch a rebrand of the ski and snowboard resort. In conjunction with the Larger Than Life campaign, the resort plans to add infrastructure, including a 22-inch halfpipe and remote avalanche mitigation devices that should allow operators to open the Quicksilver Gondola sooner.
